I've been memorizing scripture as one of my goals for the year 2015. Every couple weeks, I ask God to lead me to the next verse to memorize. It is usually a lesson He is teaching me during that time frame. Once I have my new verse, I write it in a little spiral notebook I carry with me. Then, I can go back and read it until I feel that I have it memorized. I also write it on my bathroom mirror so that I can see it every time I get ready (It also encourages some interesting conversations/discussions with my husband!). My current verse comes from 2 Corinthians 12:9. Paul is saying that he has a thorn in his flesh and has asked God to take it away multiple times. This is God's answer to Paul: "But He said to me, 'My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." Wow.
